How do i change inner cv joint on ford escort?

my mk6 escort failed the mot because of the inner cv joint can anyone give me a step by step guide on how to do it or where to find how to do it i have knowledge on doing car just didnt want to make any cock ups lol will be much appreciated

Changing CV joints requires special tools and lots of patience. It's not a difficult job but not an easy one without the proper tools and knowledge. It is an expensive job at the garage but atleast it will be done right. Guides can be found on many automotive websites (I don't feel like looking up any for an Escort).
