...that how I feel is not a joke? I'm 18 now and attending a community college and the only ones that are paying for it are my mom, her parents, and myself. Unfortunately this is nothing new, my dad very rarely helped my mom, little brother, and I when it came to finances because he would rather drink, party, and screw slutty bar women. He would get himself fired on purpose to avoid paying child support and he's told me since I was 12 that he couldn't wait until I turned 18 My parents have been divorced since I was 7, but what my dad did didn't start to bother me until I was 13. As I've gotten older he's helped even less and is asking me for money ( he got fired on purpose). I've tried to confront before, but I'm hurt at what he does so I feel like I'm going to cry and then I get angry and after that my crying gets so bad I can't express what is wrong. He makes it worse by laughing and saying "your mother put that in your silly head" like I can't have independent thoughts and that me being angry and upset is a JOKE!?! I can't ignore it anymore because it is tearing me up inside and when I finally get my teaching degree he'll be banging on my door asking for money. So how do I let him know I've had it?
