I am 15 years old in 9th grade at the top school in the city that I live in, I currently have a 98% average, I am in Grade 8 Royal Conservatory piano and an Advanced art class and my parents still make me feel like I'm not good enough. Whenever I bring home a grade that is not 100% they always ask me why I didn't get the other marks. Its not just about my marks either. They are constantly nagging me about my appearance - especially my weight. My parents are constantly telling me to stop eating and to exercise even when I am not eating that much or that often. My mom is super-athletic and really thin and she keeps pestering me to get involved in sports and stop using my computer even though I am trying to learn useful things like computer programming. The final straw happened today after I had just cleaned my room my mom walks in and says "There's a smell." What can I do about this? I can't function properly knowing that my parents are nit-picking at everything I do. Also, my parents are not critical at all of my younger sister. She has an 80% average, no extra-curricular activities, she is constantly getting in trouble at school and she is incredibly spoiled and never helps out with anything around the house and they don't even seem to notice or care. Is this fair?
