How do I enter new contact information into my new Blackberry 8830 ..

WITHOUT .. typing on the phone itself? I just got a new Blackberry 8830 with Alltel. I have about 200 contacts that I would like to put into the new 8830 but really do not want to type them in on the phone itself. I have the "old school" written down info. in an address book that I've kept for years. (you know... paper and pencil ???) I would much rather type on my Desktop Computer at home and then transfer if possible. Is there a program to accomplish this? Where can i get it? I realize that this phone already has a qwerty keyboard. But i was just exploring other options before i delve into this project.

Also if you have a Blackberry 8830, what websites do you appreciate and why in regards to forums, discussions, comments, downloads, and just plain FUN?
