How do I find out the password for the network to set up the wi-fi connection on...

...my ipod touch? when I try to connect with wi-fi it gives me a network called 2wire223 and after that it asks for the password so that I could be connected. I'm confused because i know i don't have a wireless router I use a cable modem to connect to the internet on my computer so how do I figure out the password for that network?
