How do I fix an lg Optimus that will not turn on properly?

My phone (that i have had for about 8 months now) is not turning on properly. It is lighting up briefly as if it is gonna turn on completely but then it blacks out again I have two completely charged batteries and I have been switching them out because the phone wont charge them properly. So that could be part of the issue and it is just lighting up and going off again all day and night until the battery dies off. This is driving me insane I need my phone!
 
if its the metroPOS one i suggest you get a samsung messager, or if you have the money you can upgrade to the samsung galaxy. ive had the optimus and had so many problems with it that when i lost it one day i didnt even bother looking for it, cuz when i was using it it would crash every 5 minutes...
