How do I get a light scribe drive, what is it?

I had lightscribe when I bought my HP, but I sent it for a repair, they installed an ATAPI dvd with light scribe and it was working fine. recently, I had trouble with my pc so, I did a system recovery on my pc, now I get a message saying "critical lightscribe error occured please reinstall software supplied w/your lightscribe. then I close the message and I get another one "There is no lightscribe devices found on this system." Help! Please!(everything else works fine) My thought was that since the technician did not put back an HP light scribe then it is not reading it? I dont know, Help!
