I have just given my nan and grandad our old laptop so they can introduce themselves to the internet.
They dont live in a broadband area and are likely to be moving within the next 6months so i think dial up is the best option.
I have the laptop with windows 2000, internet explorer and the telephone connection cable but am unsure how to actually get them connected.
I know you used to be able to get discs in stores like PC world - from ISP's like AOL- that you loaded and they would connect you but i cant seem to find one anywhere.
Are there any companies that still offer them (i.e via post) otherwise how do i connect them?
Thanks
I forgot to say we are in the UK and they are looking for a package of approx £15 or under per month for unlimited useage.
