How Do I get my X-Box to connenct with the internet?

So I have an X-Box 360 but my internet is upstairs and I am downstairs. What are the ways that I can get the Internet to my X-Box so I can play live?
 
Buy a wireless adaptor from Best Buy. There about 50 bucks. If you can, move your modem downstairs and hook it up with the a cable and you'll get the same reception.
 
Wireless network adapter or just buy a new internet modem for ur house. Move 360 upstairs.
