How do I get ringtones on my LG Lotus Elite phone without having the internet?

I don't have the internet on my phone and I am able to randomly go on it if I so wanted, but I would be charged for that. I'm aware of the various websites that allow you to create a ringtone, download it to your computer, then add it to the phone's SD card. However, on my Lotus Elite phone, doing that only adds the ringtone under the "music" section on my phone and my phone doesn't allow me to use that section for ringtones. Wondering if anybody else has the same problem and knows of a solution. Thank you.
