How do I get the menu back to drag out method rather than stationary on my...

...Motorola Droid home screen? I don't know if I pressed a button or what, but for some reason the normal option to drag my applications etc out is gone and there is just a little bar of 3 buttons (phone, apps, and browser) on my home screen. I want to be able to drag it out, but I can't find it ANYWHERE in the settings. Please help! Thanks.
