How do I get urine/manure stains off of my horse's feathers?

I have tried "white" shampoos, Yellow Out (I think this is Cowboy Magic) -- I didn't leave these products on for 15 minutes because it would have dried. How do people get feathers super white like I see at a horse show? My horse is a draft with lots of feather.
 
i leave a sampoo called blue on for 15 min until it drys then wash it out. at shows the trick they use is chalk they rub it on to get them white. after washing of course. and you can't leave the stains there too long or it will not come out unles you wash a few times.
 
i thought i saw a horse fly by the other day. i don't do drugs or drink so i was really scarred!!!!!
 
Have you tried a solution of water and bluing? I have used it on white dogs and horses to get the yellow out. It also is great in the laudry for really white whites. You will find it in the laundry isle of the store.
