How do I go about unlocking my Nokia 6280?

I have a nokia 6280 on 3 which was on contract but have now ended and changed to pay as you go. The rest of my family are on Vodafone so I would like to unlock my phone and change to Vodafone pay as you go, is this possible?

Year or two back I searched the internet, downloaded the unlocking software and ran it. Asks for the EMI? number and which provider it's blocked with and it gave me the code. I tried it and worked.

yes it is possible usually in town centres along the high streets theres these moblie fone dealers who have little market stalls what sell fone covers & accessories will unlock fones or if not then an indoor market will usually have a store there what deals with this.

You can better contact your provider to get unlock code for your mobile and get it unlocked..unlocking via unlock code is the safe way to unlock your mobile..and get codes from your provider or from online providers..and try Mobileunlockguide to get unlocking instruction about how to unlock your Nokia 6280..
