how do i install a skin to my phone??what do i need?

ive been everywhere to find out how i can put skins i dowload from the internet to my pc onto my phone.....i need to know how i can put them on my phone and what do i need to do this....by the way i have a motorola k1m and running on windows xp media center edition.
 
connect the usb cable phone to computer but first you need p2kman download for it on google! then configure it!
 
Connect your phone to the computer, transfer the wallpaper, then use your phone to add it in the background...
