I'm having some difficulty installing the turn signal relay for a standard 70 Beetle. This is an OEM 4 prong relay, not one of the multiple pronged ones off 71 and up models. The connectors are labeled 49a, 49, 31, and P. The installation manual says one should be labeled KBL. The cables to attach are one brown ground wire, which is attached to the chassis, speedo, washer unit, and other parts. The other is a white wire from the emergency flasher (I think) a blue one from the speedo, although I'm not sure exactly where it connects on the speedo, and a blue one with a Black/white/green one attached as well, which plugs into the main turn signal harness. If anyone can elaborate on which wires plug into which plugs on the relay, let me know. I have also had some difficulty orienting the fusebox of the Volkswagen and knowing which wires attach to which plugs on that. If anyone can elaborate without sending me links to wiring diagrams, but has pictures of their own fusebox or has valuable information on Volkswagen wiring, let me know. Thank you.
