[QUOTE="noel, post: 2039930, member: 225748"] So i have two male cats, one around twelve and one who is five. we decided to get a kitten who is three weeks old. We made the mistake of introducing her wrong... the night we took her home we put the other cats in the garage and let her have free reign of the downstairs. There was no issue with nervousness there, and she got used to the downstairs pretty quickly. we also have her litter box and bed and food/water in the bathroom downstairs, where she eats and spends the night. Unfortunately, the other cats will not come upstairs now because they have heard her meowing and smelled her, even when she is put back in the bathroom.sleeping. so we carry them upstairs, and they immediately hide for hours. i know we can't just keep them down in the garage, but they will not come up. from reading tips on how to introduce cats i know i went about this quite wrong. how can i get them to come up on their own, and how can i salvage the whole situation bbetween the cats and kitten??
