how do i make it so when i click on a newsgroup something else besides outlook comes up?

i have another program that manages newsgroups better but i cant seem to add newsgroups please help!

It isn't clear where you are clicking on these newsgroups. If you are using Internet Explorer, go to Internet options. Click on the Programs tab. There is a selection there where you can tell it how to handle newsgroups.
