How do i make the dazzel not lag with dazzel dvd recorder?

Yes um i have the dazzel dvd recorder and i want to record video games halo 3. I have everything. Even the y adpatars. So evereyone says to get around the lag is to put in the y adaptars. But it lags. Somone help me. By the way its the red dazzel
