How do I open an email attachment with my virgin mobile slash phone?

I am trying to open an attachment on my virgin mobile slash cell phone using yahoo email.
The attachment is a ringtone.
Can somebody tell me how to do this?
There is no button to download so i was just wondering if there was a hack or something I am missing. thanks
