I have a blu ray drive on my computer so I have it hooked up to my home receiver via an optical cable. Is there a certain cord I need to connect my dvd drive to my motherboard? The optical cord is connected to my motherboard.
I actually got the video to work, I have to do it through VGA though. I can play music on my computer and it goes to my home receiver just fine, via the optical cable. But when I try to play anything in my dvd drive, the sound does not output to the receiver.
