How do I put ringtones on my tracfone?

I have a LG 220C tracfone and I recently got the cord you need to connect it to your computer, but how do I access it and put ringtones on it? I can't access the internet on it and people can't send me ringtones so I have to do it from my computer, but it doesn't show up as a driver or anything on my computer. How do I make that work?

on most phones there should be an option to turn the phone on like "usb mode" or "storage mode" something along those lines (it varies depeding on the phone), make sure you change your phone to that storage mode, and it should work. Also if your looking for an application so that you cna cut n make your own ringtones, i would download audacity from download.com (just type it in the search bar). That program kicks butt, seriously, i make all my ringtones on it. I has the easy stuff for people just using it to make simple ringtones n such, or complicated stuff to repeat parts of a song, echo, fade in/out, etc.
