how do i react to my mother. she has been so sensitive lately and i have

no clue what to do.? we are all visiting my sister and there's not enough beds in the house so my parents slept on a air mattress. well the air mattress kept going flat i guess and i didn't know how bad it was until last night when my mom went crazy saying how she was just going to rent a room b/c she's tired of the air mattress and has been tired of it for the past 3 days. i dont understand why she wouldn't tell me or my sister about her discomfort and i'm sure my sister would have made another sleeping arrangment for her. but instead she didn't and just went overboard breaking down. i honestly didn't know how to react. her and my dad both raised us all to where it's so awkward to show emotion and even to comfort someone in time of need. well, now this morning she is crying again over a ham that she wants to cook. well the ham has been in my sister's freezer for a LONG time now and they needed to make room for their wedding cake so they removed the ham to throw away. well i guess my brother in law left the ham sitting out and she kept telling my dad to cook it and he kept telling her no it's bad. well they argued over it and i just simply explained what happened and she got more mad and basically broke down. i have no clue what is wrong with her. i dont know what to do and i just feel so angry b/c she has come so accustomed to hiding her feelings that it's so awkward even to talk to her. i have a 3 month old baby (which i feel like i'm basically a single mother) and having marital issues right now as no one has any clue about and before her breakdown last night i had my own breakdown crying and when i got home after cooling off i just wanted to sleep b/c it was so late well that's when i came home to this. i hate that she is mad at me and seems to punish me for everything. i dont get it b/c in the first place she could have told me or my sister and the problem would have been fixed yet she didn't and now she's mad at me for it? i dont understand. they wake up way early before anyone in the house is awake so i had no clue about the air mattress. well what do i do now?
