How do I remove a window regulator in my 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

I have a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and my front passenger window regulator has come off track and needs to be replaced. I have it loose and ready to be removed... my problem is I'm not sure how to go about removing the window frame seal to get the proper clearance I need to pull it out. I have a Chilton repair manual for it, but all it can tell me is that the seal has to come off... nothing is said about how I should do it.
