How do I remove browser from my phone? Samsung t401g?

I hate that the browser is connected from the main screen as I have accidentally clicked the browser button more than once, and as soon as I do, I lose a whole minute. Is there a way to lock the browser that I've not found, or remove the access from the main screen buttons?
