I got a turntable for Christmas, a Sony Stereo Turntable PS LX300USB, to be exact. and in transporting it from my home to my dorm the drive belt came off the spinning pin thing. Not realizing this I tried to play a record and and the belt got all kinds of tangled in the spinny pin. I untangled the belt but I don't see how I can loop the belt properly without removing the turning thing which i believe is called the platter, but the darned thing doesn't come off. I'm sure there is a way to take it off but I can't for the life of me get it. The manual says take it to my Sony dealer, and I'd rather not do that since I don't know where that is. Any help anyone can offer is appreciated.
