how do I repair the canister close valve on a 2000 elantra?

A diagnostic revealed that this part was stuck open. I need to get my car inspected, and this part is keeping the check engine-light on. Can somebody describe, in detail, how to fix this - either by fixing the original part or replacing it - or provide a link to detailed instructions? So long as this repair isn't very risky, I'm up to try it. I've done basic repairs before, but I'd like to try something more important.
