[QUOTE="Maksim378, post: 2122622, member: 619643"] I have motorola ROKR E8. for some reason, on its own, it started to give me a weird error message about lack of memory. Memory full, cant send or receive messages. Please deleted message, calendar events, contacts. something like that. the thing is, I havent added ANY content to my phone when that started to come up. now I cant send or receive text messages, cant even save anything to drafts. However I can put more music on it, add new numbers, take videos and photos. I cleared all of my messages, deleted all emails and removed my email account, deleted some numbers, deleted my pix ad music. It still gives me that error. The messages are saved to phone memory, not my sim card. How do I go about solving this? Motorola support forum didnt help. The phone operates on Java 2.0 is that makes any difference. Is there any way to format the phone and reload whatever operating system I have on it? It is way easier to do so with computers...At least there I can reinstall the operating system or use restore disk. Setting the phone to factory setting also doesnt help. OTA Updates, no updates available. So how would I reinstall the OS or whatever my phone has? Also how do I back up my current system, create something like a restore disk but for the phone, in case if I will need to bring it back. Thank you! Here's what I found in phone info: Java System: MIDP Version: 2.0 CLDC Version: 1.1 Please help. Thank you! Please provide detailed info, Im VERY new to phones when it comes to that. thank you!
