how do i set photos as wallpaper on my samsung genio touch?

just bought a samsung genio touch. when i try to save a photo as my wallpaper the image is huge.
a small box appears on the photo,and i have tried dragging it every way but having no luck. no instructions on this in the manual, so if anyone can help i'll be eternally grateful!
