how do I set up voice mail on my lg env3?

I just got an lg env3 and was trying to set up my voice mail password and recording and I read the manual but I still dont know how to set it up. As soon as I dial voice mail I hear "please enter your password then press pound" but I havent set a password yet. how should I set it?
