...LAN connected one? We recently bought a router and we set up a home network, we have four computers connected to the router, two of them are connected via LAN cables and the other two are wireless. File sharing between LAN computers is fine and the same goes for Wireless to wireless but we can't seem to share between LAN to Wireless and vice versa, hope you guys can help us tnx.

Just make sure they are all in the same workgroup, and you allow local network traffic (the range of 192.168.x.1 through 192.168.x.255 for example) to pass through your firewall. Norton and McAfee for example will need special treatment.

When you set up a LAN you should have given it a name.
The wireless units should be able to see this group name and login to this group. If it's password protected, you just login with the password and then you should be able to share files.

You may have to specify certain folders as shareable.

I use EF Commander from Germany to work with files all over our network. It does most the functions that PC Tools did.
