How do I start using UseNet to download films?

I've been using Bittorrent but I've heard that UseNet is faster. What websites do this? Can I just use the NewsGroups from my internet provider? What do I need to know to start doing this? Do I need to use a special search engine to find the films? Can I download TV programmes this way too?
 
I tried this but found it to be just the same as Bitcomet.Have a look at this;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UsenetIf yout looking for faster dwload speeds, try the TCP patch and increase to 80, but not more than 100.
