into sleep mode? I usually leave my laptop running 24/7 because I use it all the time. I occasionally leave it alone for some time (e.g. ~30 min.) and my laptop goes into sleep mode. When I wake the dang thing up the wireless connection has dropped and I have to wait for it to re-connect (which for me seems rather slow, ~1 min. to re-connect). Is there anyway I can get my connection to stay on always? Is there a setting I can change? It's a really bothersome annoyance. In case you need to know: I run XP and use Broadcom WLAN Card Utility. The laptop is an Acer Aspire 3680. I uninstalled the Vista the laptop came with, formatted the hard drive and installed XP. The wireless modem is a D-link WB-1310. Can anyone help? Thanks! ANagah,
