I hope I can explain this as easy as possible, so bear with me...
I recently had to get a new hard drive for my MacBook Pro version 10.6.8. It is the original computer that I've used to store all of my iPhone 4 information, apps, contacts, notes, etc.. although now I no longer have all of my iPhone information, apps, contacts, etc.. stored to the computer because everything was erased when my hard drive was restored. Now, when I try to update and sync my phone to my computer so that I can re-save everything and update it, it is saying that if I continue with the update ALL of my things on the phone will be deleted. So, my question is: how do I update my iPhone and connect it to my new hard drive without having to have everything erased and start all over again?
