How do i take files from shared documents that I don't want,delete them,without

messing up any one elses files I found several folders that I dont want to be responsible for deleteing.I want them out of my files but I want all other users to keep them.( these have t odo with my husbands statistics on his sports,and I shouldn't have them or be responsible for them!this is a shared computer with 3 others besides myself.Please...laymans terms.
