[QUOTE="bunny, post: 1597808, member: 244092"] My good friend Sean (no we are not dating) CONSTANTLY whines about everything. Not in a way that is truly obvious but after you start spending time with him you realize just how much he whines. He wines that he's tired, he whines when he wants something (usually food...that boy eats more when he's at my house for a few hours than I do in 2 meals), he whines that he's bored or that he wants to do something else, and he whines every time he doesn't get his own way. To give you more perspective, its like living with a two-year-told, and I am by no mean exaggerating. And when I get agitated he always says "geez why are you so grumpy? are you PMSing?" and then laughs his head off. I really want to talk to him about it (no that's a lie; I really just want to yell at him, smack him in a very dramatic fashion and then walk away) but I don't want to sound like I'm whining because then I would just be doing what bothers me most. How do I approach this problem maturely and in a way that would cause the least about of ramification? Thanks in advance **btw Sean is 15 years old and so am I** He also complains about me clothing: he makes a comment on my clothing every time I see him. Every so often he says something nice, but most of the time he asks me why in the world I'm wearing what I am. He also made a comment the other day about a jacket he saw in my closet; he said "OMG! that jacket is so ugly! Why do you have that?!" He also makes frequent comments about my weight (I'm not fat, but I would stand to lose a few pounds). He always say "You're so fat.....just kidding" and then laughs. He says he's kidding and I'm sure he doesn't mean to hurt me, but he does. I have a pretty high self-esteem, but no matter how high a person's self-esteem is, after a while it starts to hurt.
