The computer (not my home computer) that I am using does not allow me to install the Divx codec at C:/Program Files/Divx which seems to be the default location where VirtualDub looks for the Divx codec. I have installed the codec in a folder on the computer's desktop. How do I tell Virtualdub the new location so that the Divx option shows up on this dialog box? http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/CBasedLifeform/codec.jpg I'm using a computer in a University computer lab. I can't get administrator privileges. It's running on windows XP and I am trying to cut and slice segments of a video. Virtualdub needs the Divx codecs in order to do it.
