how exactly do you trade cars with someone else? like how do you sign the title over to eachother? how can I make sure that after the trade he does put my car under his name? is there tax on a trade? and is there any way to avoid any fees? how does he "sign over" the title, does he literally sign the back and say he is giving the title to me? what do i have to do at the DMV to get his title under my name? I live in NY and he lives in NJ if that makes a difference. thanks alot!
