How Do I uninstall DivX?

Right so my stupid brother installed something called DivX Player which came with a variety of other DivX things such as,: DivX Player, DivX Plus web player, DivX Plus Directshow Filters.
He installed this to watchmovies but it wasnt working for him so I tryed uninstalling it for extra space, it didnt work when he opened it up. So I started off by uninstalling DivX Codec, and it uninstalled. But for the others, I try uninstalling them but it comes up with a black square blank screen thing.

So I went to Control Panel as i usually do when something isnt uninstalling properly and clicked change/remove, it then again came up with that medium sized black blank screen.

So somebody please help me! I want this software gone, because I dont want a slow fucking computer...! So I would appreciate it much if you told me!

You can try using the system restore feature of windows to go back to a previous day.

I had a problem with a FFXI install on my computer and system restore fixed it when add/remove wouldn't work.

go to..

ccleaner.com

its small in file size, great pc cleaning utility that literally takes seconds!!!

also its free, and has a built in uninstaller, that will if corrupted, deleate the program and registry settings, where the default windows fails to do so.
