I have quicktime installed on my computer for one reason: to use Avid Express to edit video. I hate quicktime, and wish I could be rid of it, but I need it for that one thing. Now, normally, when you open an .mp3 or a .mov or any other media file, the computer would ask you how you want to download it. But the thing about quicktime is that it makes itself the program to handle these files from within your browser. It also disables your ability to save these files unless you upgrade to pro version, which costs money. So, how can I go about disabling this feature in Google Chrome. (Note: I cannot switch browsers; Firefox 2 and 3 do not work properly, and IE sucks.)
