How do I use a song as my ringtone on sony erricsson c902?

from standby select menu > settings > sounds and alerts > ringtone then choose the song you want to use. also on some phones while playing the song select options > use as ringtone.

I have tried everything! Little help please? I've tried using every song on my phone but I see no option to use a ringtone.
Hey thnks Nigel - I have tried this and all that comes up are the ringtones that come with the phone. Is it possible I need to have a memory card? I managed to use a pic as wallpaper w/o one.
