My computer has bluetooth and so does my phone (a motorola razor) i read the intruction manual to the bluetooth and it just says to turn the devices on and they'll connect to eachother. you don't need a cord or something? because it's not working. i used bluetooth on a different phone to get ringtones from another phone so i assumed you did't need a cord. can someone please give me STEP BY STEP intructions on getting my phone to work with the computer. and by the way what can your phone get from your comptuer? can it bluetooth like limewire files and pictures and stuff? if not what?
by the way best answer gets 10 points!
and if i do have to plug the phone into the computer what kind of cord do i use and when do i buy it?
i have a toshiba a205 and the bluetooth on my computer won't even load enough for me to put it on discoverable and asks to loacte or plug in the device before it can proceed. and i've tried putting my phone on find me and it still doesn't work.

You have to turn both of them on "discoverable." Your cell phone and computer may ask for a password, try 0000. I can't help too much considering I don't know what kind of computer you have. Look up a tutorial on youtube or google if you need step by step visual instructions.
