explorer?? is there a program needed? OKAY...i have lots of gif files...the ones that move, the animated gif files.
i can view them....HOWEVER i can only seem to view them in internet explorer....I DONT want that lol. I know that is possible already.
i find solutions that say "right click, open with..." but i cant find the program to open these animated gif files...they are either non compatible or they dont "move" as they are supposed to.
So how can i make this happen without using Internet Explorer?
And... I have used a computer [complete with modem, monitor, all that]... (i now have a Windows Vista Notebook). the computer i used before the notebook could view animated gif files WITHIN the computer itself. it did not have to open Internet Explorer. I could even set animated gif files as my desktop background on that computer...something i cant do on my notebook, which really irritates me. All it ever does is come up as a still pic if i try to set it as a background on my notebook...Is there a way to change that too?

and here's another problem... i dont have windows picture and fax viewer.... its not on my computer. i've searched on my computer... word is that its associated with "explorer.exe"... more aggrivation cuz i dont want it to show up in explorer anymore. how do i download that then?
