How do I write a time change in the middle of my chapter?

I'm writing a story at the moment for fun but I'm having a lot of trouble with this one particular scene and the follow up scene after it, for example: My character decides to go to bed but when she wakes up it morning time. I don't know to write this time change in my story because what I seem to write makes it seem like a whole chuck of time has gone passed and it seems like I've just decided to pick up from some random part of my story.
