how do know if my truck is front or rear wheel?

i have a 2003 s10 ls and i want to know if it is front or rear wheel drive. does anybody know how to find out? my calipers and the break pads are in the front. does that means is a front wheel drive? thank you

You S10 is a Rear Wheel Drive. Vehicles have brake pads in front and brake shoes in the rear or brake pads all the way around. Brake pads all the way around are easier to work on.

Your truck is rear wheel drive. You may have 4 wheel drive then the front wheels are also driven when in 4 wheel. You can tell that a vehicle is rear wheel drive by looking if there is a drive shaft going to the rear axle. 4 wheel drive trucks have axles to the front wheels.
