How do you adjust the idle on a 71 VW Beetle?

My son just had the timing on his bug adjusted. We had replaced plugs, points, rotor beforehand. Now it seems to be idling a little low and acts as if its on the verge of dying when he's at idle. I believe there is a idle screw on the carb, but ...which one is it? And is there a process I need to be aware of? I've never had much luck with carbs so I'm a bit weary of this without asking for help.

I believe it's a stop screw that you can see as you pull on the throttle cable. But the best way is to get a good manual, like Chitlton's or Haynes, and follow the directions. BTW, if you replaced the points, did you set the gap correctly? If you like the car, you might consider replacing the distributor with an after-market pointless one. I did that on my old truck and love the results!
