How do you bathe a cougar?

Hi, I have a 2-year old cougar. He is the best pet in the world, way past his adolescent stage. It is fun to walk him and see people's reactions.
However, he recently rolled in poo or something and refuses to lick himself clean.

I'm going to try a giving him a bath by hand in a minute.

If that doesn't work, what should I do?
 
Does he/she like water? If so let him/her play in a full bath, when he/she is out the water should have washed most of the icky stuff off assuming she/he was actually playing in the water not just sitting.

But...we are just regular people giving our best guesses. I wouldn't take a question like that to Yahoo! Answers. Look on a website about wild animals. If you are going to have one you should probably know these things.

Hope I don't see you on the news someday : /
