How do you change the Voicemail message on Orange LG KS360?

I've read about it being under settings in Messaging, but I can't find it. Also, what is the voicemail number for? Is it important in changing the message?
yes, it is a serious question. My network is caled Orange, I thought I'd mention the phone model incase that affected anything.

this depends on your service, not the phone...
voicemail comes in on your phone number, the one you give to people to call you..
is this a serious quesiton??
