How do you convert units with a handheld calculator like a TI 84?

I need help and I was wondering if their was a way that I would be able to convert units by using a calculator. For some eexamples:

Gigabytes to Megabytes
3.4567 Gb to ? Mb

Years to Minutes
36 years to ? minutes

you use logic. 1 Gb= 1024 Mb so 3.4567 x 1024 = 3540 Mb

1 year = 365.25 days, 1 day= 24 hours, 1 hour= 60 min

36 x 365.25 x 24 x 60 = 18934560 minutes

yeah you can if you go to the apps button and scroll until you get to scitools (hit enter), then hit unit converter(number two on the list). After that you can select what kind of units you wish to convert.
