How do you determine which zits are safe to pop?

Some of them pop and don't even get a little red. Others that look the same are harder to pop and they leave huge red marks even when using the same technique.

Don't pop them.

They'll probably come back, or leave a mark.
Either way, it's bother some and I doubt you want that.

None are safe to pop, that will just cause potholes and scarring if you want to pop them normally wait until the tip is white. Get a clean Q tip, cut the Q tip in 2 and you will use that as your fingers instead of your own. That will help with bacteria ALSO if you do it gently it will prevent scarring.
