48 hours? Flexplay developed a dvd with a self-destruct function. Is there anyone that knows enough to figure how it works and how to stop the process?
The 2 layers of plastic that make up a disc are glued together with a special adhesive, which also has a coated material mixed in. The coating reacts with the oxygen in the air, and after 48 hours, the material fogs up the disc.
Unless you can play your DVDs in a vacuum, then there's no way to stop it.
